Animate with RubberRig in BattleAxe Rubberhose

Jake in Motion shows you how to use the RubberRig feature in BattleAxe Rubberhose, which allows artists to work with raster rigs.
He starts with a mixed-media character rig in Photoshop, putting every element on different layers. This PSD is imported into After Effects with all of the layers intact. Then he adjusts anchor points and parents all of the properties together, linking the arm to the shoulder, leg to the torso, etc., in a chain. Then, he animates!
It’s worth mentioning that Jake uses Kbar, an extra After Effects panel for workflow, which you can find here.
