Fresh Trim is designed to help keep your timeline organized by trimming layers quickly according to a variety of attributes. In all the modes, you can trim the in-point and out-points of a layer by clicking the correlating button, trim only the in-point by holding CTRL or the out-point using ALT.

15 Modes

• Trim to Keys – Trim selected layers to the first and last keyframe on the layer. Keys
• Trim to Parent – Trim selected layers that are a child will be trimmed to the parent layer. Parent
• Trim to Children – Trim selected parent layers to the first in-point and last in-point of all the child layers. Children
• Trim to Matte – Trim the selected layers to the matte layer.
• Trim to Matted – Trim selected matte layers to the first in-point and last in-point of all the matted layers. Matted
• Trim to Zero – Trim the selected layers to the first and last opacity or scale keyframes with a value of zero. Zero
• Trim to Selection – Trim the last layer selected to the first in-point and the last in-point of all the other selected layers. Selection
• Trim to Markers – Trim selected layers to the first and last marker on the layer.
• Trim to Above – Trim the layer to match the layer above the currently selected layer. Only one layer can be selected. Above
• Trim to Below – Trim the layer to match the layer below the currently selected layer. Only one layer can be selected.
• Trim Selection to CTI – Trim selected layers to the CTI while maintaining the same layer offset or add frames to both the in and out points at the same time. CTI
• Trim to Comp – Trim selected layers to the length of the comp.
• Trim Comp to Selection – Trim the comp to the selected layers. With no layers selected, the comp will be trimmed to the length of all the layers in the comp. Trim Comp
• Trim to Work Area – Trim selected layers to the work area. Work Area
• Trim Work Area to Selection – Trim the work area to the selected layers.
